Initially issued as a limited edition release only obtainable on their European tour, Beach House's new seven-inch, Lose Your Smile / Alien, now becomes officially available to order, still limited, yet at long last accessible to a wider audience.
B-side, Alien, is a strong outtake from 7, on the back of which the Baltimore duo have toured extensively and are currently concluding their live excursions. The song dwells toward the more shoegaze-prone side of the band's deep and multivariant sound, and emerges imposingly like a cut that could have easily ended up among the album's high rated quality in the first place.
The song leaked online a few days prior to its official release, and it has now become formally available via Sub Pop.
