The year's first release for the acclaimed Chicago punks, Meat Wave, comes in the form of a split seven-inch alongside fellow Chicago up and comers, Lifestyles. Meat Wave's side is a lively post punk piece, titled That’s Alright, and recorded at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio Studio with skillful engineer, Taylor Hales.
The song is one of the exceptional occasions in the trio's discography themed on smoother ideas such as love, lightness and positivism, intended to become the start of a new chapter in their always imposing ingenuity.
Meat Wave are already en route, on a big US tour in support of Cursive. Their split with Lifestyles will be out on red vinyl on October 26th, 2018 via No Trend Records.
