While Peter Murphy and David J are on a Bauhaus tour playing the band's debut album, In The Flat Field, in its entirety in honor of their 40th anniversary, a full release of Bauhaus' first studio session has just been unveiled.
The Bela Session originally happened on January 26th, 1979, and it sprang the immortal classic, Bela Lugosi's Dead, together with the Debbie Harry-inspired, Harry, which became part of the 1982 EP, Kick In The Eye (Searching For Satori), and three more tracks which hadn't been officially released until now.
Murphy and Bauhaus will have a super busy schedule in the months ahead, as the celebrations for the archetypal gothic/post punk act's 40th anniversary continue.
