Absolutely Not: Glitch

The absolutely wild, Glitch, is the second single off the anticipated new album Problematic, by post punk rising stars, Absolutely Not, from Chicago, following the delightful, Bottom Of The Pit, from last month.

Glitch is heavily political, and accompanies the uncompromising and deviating spirit of its lyrics with a dynamite of a post punk sound which leans toward the horror madness of The Cramps and the early Damned, as well as the fury of Joy Division and Gang of Four, and the darkness of Public Image Ltd. It's a well-grounded composite of the best that post punk has to offer, and its observational anger coincides with the current state of the world's politics and social conditions.

Frontman Donnie Moore who wrote the song, and his sister and the band's keyboardist/vocalist, Madison, also run Glitter Creeps, the long-running, inclusive LGBTQ monthly event at Chicago's famed venue, Empty Bottle.

The band will be supporting their upcoming album with a tour in March and April. Problematic releases March 1st, 2019 through No Trend Records.
