Following The Kids / The End from earlier this month, dreampop duo, Dog Trainer reveal another single off their forthcoming LP, Puppyhood, which comes out on March 1st, 2019.
Fever Dream blossoms from the moment it kicks off, and stands out due to Nick Greenberg's excellent vocal delivery, its traditional instrumentation in which star vintage mellotrons and acoustic guitars, and the writing's ultra melodious approach, evocative of The Beatles' celebrated psychedelic side. Dog Trainer's artistic maturation continues, with their new songs sounding all the way charming and soulful, and as good as lo-fi indie rock gets.
The upcoming Puppyhood took the band about a year to complete, as the core duo of Nick Greenberg (vocals/production) and Lucas del Calvo (production) worked resolutely on it, out of Lucas' apartment in New York, and by all accounts, it looks and sounds that it's been worth their while.
