Following last year’s, For My Crimes, the prolific, Marissa Nadler released a pair of wonderful new tracks, one of which is in collaboration with the legendary John Cale. Poison Summer is composed of Poison, a gloomy and sweetly melancholic piece, where Cale shows up to complement Nadler's vocal with an equally powerful delivery, and If We Make It Through The Summer, a hazy indie folk tune, representative of her songwriting forte.
The tireless artist will embark on another North American tour with Hilary Woods next month, and will head out to Europe for a series of dates in April.
