One of Mexico's youngest and hardest working shoegaze bands, Mint Field earned their well deserved acclaim with their debut album, Pasar de las Luces, released via LA's Innovative Leisure last year, and made their mark with their live presence at Coachella and SXSW, as well as on extensive tours in the US and Mexico.
Recorded last November at the Tapetown Studios in Aarhus, Jardin de la Paz is part of the band's upcoming EP, and only one of the tracks recorded during this session, so we should be expecting more in the near future. A slow burning track, the first single off Mientras Esperas, tends toward shoegaze's more melodious, floridly psychedelic side, and finds the band evolving with consistency, sounding genuinely solid, and certainly promising for their future endeavors.
