Taking a very different approach than the beast that their previous collaboration birthed, neo-noir thriller, Under the Silver Lake, marks the second time that Rich Vreeland aka Disasterpeace provides the score for a film by David Robert Mitchell, four years after It Follows.
This time the acclaimed musician replaces his good ear for a more synth-driven sound with an orchestral approach, appearing just as dark as his previous work, yet, more traditional and classical inclined. Dependable As Moonshine is the ominous new track off the upcoming score, which in under four minutes achieves a stunning, vivid build up, and by its suspenseful nature it evokes feelings of tension and anticipation.
Under the Silver Lake comes out April 19th, 2019 by Milan Records, the same day the film is being theatrically released by A24 (Ladybird, Hereditary, A Ghost Story).
