Hailing from North Wales, rising indie pop four-piece, Kidsmoke, have released their latest single, a sweetly melancholic dreampop piece, winsome from the first listen. Passenger is a sample off the band's anticipated debut full length which is planned to come out later in 2019.
Dreamy and misty according to expectation, introverted and visceral, reverberating and jangly, the song brilliantly contrasts the arrangement and instrumentation's brightness and warmth with a weightier and gloomier lyrical content.
After the band had a song featured in a Black Mirror episode, and fresh off their appearance at this year's SXSW, Kidsmoke continue growing and sounding robust and solid on their new material. Their ability to devise simple, yet, captivating songs is undoubtedly a strong quality which will get them far.
