From our friends over at Tapetown, comes another electrifying performance by topnotch bringers of shoegaze ferocity and kaleidoscopic psychedelia, Mint Field. Ella Se Queda sounds even more thrilling and venturous than the previously unveiled, intriguing performance of Jardin de la Paz, both songs from the band's brand new EP, Mientras Esperas.
Ella Se Queda, a mood-setting opener to the new EP, with its spine-chilling build up, brings to mind the noisier side of Sonic Youth and the unyielding nerve of the assaulting shoegaze reverberations of My Bloody Valentine. The louder, the better!
Mint Field recorded this at Tapetown Studios one day before their gig at Atlast, Aarhus, on November 8th, 2018.
