Balancing between glimmering synthpop and shadowy darkwave, Hollywood's Kinolectro deliver another beautiful piece of stylish and surrealistic musicality through Photographic Afternoons, the band's third single from their upcoming EP, Classic Kino Style.
Dakota Blue and Jenny Nirgends combine both their alluringly deadpan vocal deliveries with a minimal style of instrumentation founded on prominent synths and soft guitar lamentations, while the song's tantalizing nocturnal lyricism factors in largely to its strong appeal.
There is certainly much depth in Kinolectro's picturesque synthpop, and from all examples released thus far, it all seems to be making up a fine display of two artists with a clear vision, and more left to offer.
