Last month's Self-Regulating System gave us a pretty good indication of the new very dark and very twisted concept Pharmakon is coming up with through her new album, Devour, scheduled for release August 30th, 2019 via Sacred Bones Records.
With a vocal delivery that is at the very least imposing, Spit It Out reaffirms the gripping depravity and utter darkness on which Margaret Chardiet's new work is founded. Pharmakon's extreme power electronics, industrial and noise sounds once more come together into an intense and coherent blend, all fully realized, and painting an very grim and brutal picture.
The New York City based artist has also announced a series of North American dates, listed below.
Spit It Out comes both through the album version's extended entirety, and as a briefer single edit.
