Faster Now is the second single revealed off The Right Stuff, the second EP release for 2019 by Brooklyn quartet, UV Rays. Largely a mellow cut, the new song brings together the band's flair for both enticing melodies and sharp delivery.
Marking a very welcome change to the upcoming group's song-crafting, vocal duties are this time managed by the group's bassist, Tim Marchetta-Wood who also wrote the song. Despite the different approach though, Faster Now is as acute and noteworthy as all of UV Rays' previous releases, and comes through all fresh and lively, and as a perfect encapsulation of their crisp take on power pop.
Engineered by Ava Luna's Carlos Hernandez and Julian Fader at Gravesend Studios, The Right Stuff comes out August 9th, 2019.
