Of the plentiful of the consistently cultivated Tapetown session videos we have shared over the last couple of years, this one is hands down the heaviest, and it comes courtesy of Danish extreme rockers, Heathe whose sound splendidly intermixes psychedelic rock, doom, sludge and black metal elements, in an overall imposing result which feels even more dazzling in its live form.
At the Aarhus studio the band performed an eleven-minute rendition of their 38-minute epic, On the Tombstones; The Symbols Engraved, which was released earlier in 2019 through the German label, Wolves and Vibrancy Records.
Heathe are an eight-person unit composed of Martin Jensen (vocals and guitars), Simon Kildedal Westmark (drums), Andreas Kildedal Westmark (guitars, organ, synthesizers), Lars Dalsgaard (guitars), Bosse Bertelsen (guitars), Morten Kærup (organ), Oskar Krusell Sørensen (synthesizers, alto horn, vocals) and Filip Dybjerg (bass, synthesizers).
