Four years after the out of the ordinary extremity of The Ark Work, Brooklyn's Liturgy return with another addition to their crushing contemporary black metal sound, and come through with their teases and promises for new material.
The exceedingly heavy and relentless, God of Love is the band's newest piece, an eight-minute epic which comes very promising, released ahead of their just announced West Coast tour of the genre fusing opera, Origin Of The Alimonies, which Hunter Hunt-Hendrix debuted last October.
Liturgy currently consist of Hunter Hunt-Hendrix, Bernard Gann (guitar), Tia Vincent-Clark (bass), and Leo Didkovsky (drums) who replaced Greg Fox.
We are promised more new material by Liturgy in the months and shows to come.
