Veteran indie pop duo, Club 8, have just released their first new piece in over a year. The very elegant, Så Underbart Va Livet, carries an intriguing title in Swedish, but its lyrics are solely in English, and it finds the band yet again toying with both the wistful and the more blissful aspects of their ingenuity.
Based on a minimal but much effective style of instrumentation which prominently features non-Western sounds, as well as on an excelling soft vocal deliver by singer Karolina Komstedt, the new song is living proof that the band which goes as far back as 1995 keeps going strong, and that their future is still blossoming.
