After last year's Just The Beginning which compiled the early EPs and singles by dark underground act, Lunacy, a debut album is finally in the works and ready to come out November 22nd, 2019 through Third Coming Records.
Age of Truth is themed on notions of decay and the aging of mankind. "The Ripple is an effect or idea that one seemingly small factor that is wrong, or one small incorrect decision can have an effect that is both long-lasting and far-reaching," the album's statement declares. "It is hard to take a step back and look to the future in such a fast-paced and instantaneous world, but even with such foresight and accountability now, it may be too late to undo what has been set into motion."
Tactfully balancing between dissonance and melody, the first piece revealed off the album is Perception, a six-minute cut which stands as the embodiment of Lunacy's exquisite dark vision, almost impossible to categorize, as it once again challenges labels and genres, and lays out the artist's unconfined exploratory drive.
Perception comes with a hallucinogenic clip edited by Timothee Gainet.
Age of Truth was recorded and produced by Lunacy, mixed by Connor Clasen, and mastered by A Place To Bury Strangers' Oliver Ackermann.
