Following their dark video for their previous single Animal, Danish alt rockers, Twin Dive, come up with another engaging visual, but with a completely different direction. Directed by Mark Vesterlund, the video for the brand new Holly is bursting with vivid colors and tackily ornamented imagery, it features a group of elder Vietnamese dancers, and according to the band, it is open to the viewer's own interpretation.
"Although the song is about ego, and some of the lyrics are self-glorifying, it’s really said in irony, for the most part at least," says Twin Dive frontman, Robert Jancevich. "The visual combined with lyrics might call for interpretation and digging up of meaning."
As to the artistic direction of Holly, this time the band bring the garage rock aspect of their coarse sound a bit more to the front, while the elements from grunge and noise rock are once again consistently and prominently present.
Twin Dive are Robert Jancevich (vocals, guitar), Ragnar 'Raggi' Gudmunds (drums) and Charlotte Mortensen (bass).
