With a distinctive approach which brings together synthpop and dreampop in a very organic manner, fresh act, Arch of Love, have released four singles in four months, with their latest, Light In Your Eyes, coming together with a wonderful video courtesy of director Bob Sweeney.
Composed of partners Chelsea Brennan and Chris Schackerman (formerly a touring member of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart), Arch of Love are based in Philadelphia, and they come forth full of swaying and glittering energy, starrily channeling their influences from eighties pop and shoegaze's front line, while radiating with melodic clarity that ultimately produces an intimate and unequivocal outcome.
Produced by Schackerman, Light In Your Eyes, as well as the duo's recently released previous three singles which are also very much worth exploring, are out now through 6131 Records (Self Defense Family, Hesitation Wounds, Culture Abuse, Touché Amoré and many more).
