Following the tense and very intriguing, Grace, Dutch quartet, Neighbours Burning Neighbours unveil the other half of their double A-side seven-inch, Softly / Grace, which was just released through Subroutine.
An emphatic piece that's based on a vociferous vocal delivery and bewildering instrumentals which channel the distress, the depth and the nonconformist nature of the band's writing, Softly doesn't insinuate much about softness and frailty. Conversely, the song bursts like an artful ode to escapism, while the band's presentation and their aptitude for hybridizing post punk with noise rock and obscure pop sounds once more thrive.
Softly / Grace was produced, mixed and mastered by Roy van Rosendaal. Neighbours Burning Neighbours will be soon out on a European tour, including a date at Slovenian showcase-event MENT Ljubljana, as well as Dutch festivals Peel Slowly And See and Grasnapolsky.
