Australian high energy rock 'n' roll trio, Ute Root, team up with Melbourne-based label, Roolette Records, for a double a-side cassette release raising money for the Fire Relief Fund for First Nation Communities affected by the recent devastating fires, as well as awareness for climate change.
Musically the two songs are the straightforward, raw hard rock cuts anyone would have expected from the vigorous band, with the storytelling noise rocker, Alan, burning a bit slower and more edgily than the blunt stoner rock energy of Your Time Has Come.
The band issue the following, earnest statement alongside the release:
"We acknowledge that these tragedies have occurred on Sacred Indigenous lands where Sovereignty has not been ceded. We hope that this current wave of incredible love and support around the globe, means that we’ll all fight harder than ever before and not surrender it to those who would destroy it for temporary financial gain.
