Blushh: Too Dark

Originally the solo project of songwriter Shab Ferdowsi, Blushh evolved from its shy beginnings in 2015 to a fully fledged band which only five years later has put out a few EPs, shared stages with The Joy Formidable, SWMRS, Waxahatchee and others, and it is currently among preparations for the release of a full length debut. R.I.P. Apathy will be out April 15th, 2020 through Yellow K Records, and it's coming together as a strong and quite important next move for the rising LA act.

Too Dark sounds a bit more upbeat that what its title suggests, and exhibits the band's guitar-driven indie rock pep in full bloom, while it comes paired to a well made, high spirited clip directed by Caleb White. Very much nineties-like as a whole, Too Dark expresses assertiveness and animation through Ferdowsi's casual and outgoing style of songwriting, as well through the band's zestful execution.

Alongside Ferdowsi, Blushh's lineup is rounded by Skyler Garn (lead guitar), Kenzo Cardenas (bass) and Arturs Reirs (drums).
