German garage/surf punks, Drens, reveal the first single off an upcoming EP expected in May 2020, the two-minute straightforward rocker, A Very Sunny Day, which presents more of the band's punchy punk rock sound, in contrast to the customary surf rock brightness of their previous releases.
The new single coincides with the video release of a zestful live session at an intimate space, in which the band lay out the immediacy and impact of their live presence. The visual was recorded in February 2020, and conceived by the band together with Hannah Schwaiger.
Drens have a few live dates announced in Germany, close the EP's release.
