The great Local H are back after a five year gap since the release of their previous full length, Hey, Killer, and ready to unveil their upcoming ninth LP, LIFERS, arriving April 10th, 2020 via AntiFragile Music.
The very much memorable, Hold That Thought, follows Turn The Bow as the second single to be revealed from the Chicagoan band's solid return, and presents the band's most tuneful and instantly appealing songwriting side, being a riff-laden indie rock earworm to a certain extent.
LIFERS coincides with the band's 30th anniversary and includes contributions by Steve Albini and Andy Gerber on production, as well as collaborations with Juliana Hatfield and John McCauley of Deer Tick. Local H are currently on tour in support of the new album alongside Soul Asylum.
