Composed of former La Houle guitarist and songwriter Geoffrey Papin, Clémentine Blue (Tiger Lion), John Davies (Michael A Grammar, Traams) and Jimi Tormey (Gang), fresh genre bending act, Sisyphes, emerged a couple of months ago with debut single, Hispanie, now followed by a new track of equal distinction and fineness.
Saṃsāra once more pairs the post rock and dreampop attributes in Sisyphes' sound, this time through a more traditional way, and with a poetic essence. The song comes attached to a journeying video, created by the band's own members, as it was shot and directed by Geoffrey Papin, and edited by Clémentine Blue.
"Saṃsāra is a Sanskrit word that means 'wandering' or 'world', with the connotation of cyclic, circuitous change," the band explain. "In short, it is the cycle of death and rebirth."
