Industrial pioneers, Einstürzende Neubauten, have announced their upcoming album, Alles in Allem, and introduced it with the bilingual, experimental first single, Ten Grand Goldie. The upcoming record will be the group's first canonical album since 2007's Alles wieder offen, and it releases on May 15th, 2020 through their imprint, Potomak.
Although the band did return in 2014 with Lament, a studio reconstruction of a performance piece themed on World War I, a proper LP of new material from Neubauten had been missing from the avant-garde/industrial scene for almost thirteen years, and the first example unsurprisingly doesn't disappoint. Ten Grand Goldie follows in the same luring style of the band's last few LPs with Blixa's croon and impalpable lyrics standing out and enhanced by cutting edge production.
