Jarboe: Man Of Hate

Illusory will be getting Jarboe's total of solo full length albums up to an impressive number 33. The album will be out on April 17th, 2020 with Consouling Sounds, and following the title track from last February, a new piece has been revealed, the album's imposing closer which may sound a bit familiar to the more initiated.

Man of Hate was originally part of Jarboe's 1991 debut LP, Thirteen Masks. The track has been completely reworked and turned into a superbly moody and avantgardistic seven-minute cut, opposed to the four-minute gothic folk immediacy of the first version from almost thirty years ago.

The equally gloomy visuals of the accompanying video were directed by Jakub Moth of Chariot of Black Moth.
