Straight out of quarantine, Nikki and Eric of New York indie pop stalwarts, Me Not You, offer a down to earth and stripped down rendition of one of their favorite songs. Blind Melon's No Rain becomes something more homely and dark inclined in the hands of the shrewd duo, and presents both the band's admiration for the nineties classic, and their ability to reinterpret something so familiar to a wholly freshened and invigorated listen.
Fueled by the strangeness of the times in which we live, Me Not You convert the mandatory confinement to an inspired endeavor, discharging vibes of hope and sureness, and sounding very mellow and downright confident in the process.
