Relatively new band, Yellow Dudes, followed their debut release, Backstage Escenario EP, from 2018, with a solid new EP released in the Fall 2019. Parking Spot EP continues the band's vision for exquisite and delicate dreampop and shoegaze sounds through alluring vocal harmonies, atmospheric instrumentals, and distinguishable elements from surf and garage rock.
Yellow Dudes hail from Tepic, Nayarit, México, and they're composed of childhood friends Carlos (guitar/bass) and Ramón (guitar), together with Mario (guitar, bass), Ramsés (drums) and Columba (vocals).
A dreampop charmer, the firm, three-minute cut, There's a Lot of Things, is only one of the EP's standout pieces, and a strong depiction of the quintet's great ear for a lush, airy and gazey sound.
