The engagingly titled Here I Am Existing, is the third single of the coming Endless Space (Between You & I) which is shaping up as the most ambitious and fully realized piece of work with which Samara Winter has come up thus far, through a creative path that's consistently on the rise.
The new single draws inspiration from the Mary Oliver poem I’m Feeling Fabulous, Possibly Too Much So. But I Love It, which explores one's relationship with their surroundings and the feeling of being in accord with their environment. The song parallels to its concept through the well implemented bird sounds in its production, and the reference to the forest in its lyrics, while the accompanying visual is also strongly linked to nature.
Winter says that the song is "about blissful and harmonious nature and the feeling of feeling at one with your surrounding especially in nature." It's a psychedelic pop exemplar, crafted with exactness and mixed by Pat Jones (Washed Out, Toro y Moi).
Endless Space (Between You & I) will be out July 24th, 2020 through Bar/None Records.
