Oakland, California-based band, Happy Science, strengthen the strong impression they've made for the same through their recently unveiled single, Lie To Me, with another impeccable piece of shoegaze and post rock largeness.
New song, Laid to rest, sounds as massive and instrumentally muscly as its predecessor, and it's an affecting cut with a hefty and gloomy subject, perfectly delineated by the band's emotive execution.
The band describe the new single's aim: "This song is about death, mortality, and how we just reduce into nothing."
