Philadelphia-based garage rock trio, Total Rubbish, will be soon releasing their debut EP, Triple Negative, through Born Losers Records, and have introduced it with a gazey and groovy first single.
Honey Ryder is a three-minute psychedelic-bent garage rock exemplar, equivalent to the earlier records of The Dandy Warhols, the candid vibrancy of The Brian Jonestown Massacre and the gungier rock 'n' roll spirit of The Breeders.
Honey Ryder pulls its title and inspiration from the first ever 'Bond Girl', the character of the same name portrayed by Ursula Andress in the first ever Bond film, 1962’s Dr. No.
The song comes with a colorful clip composed of scenes of the band delivering their ardent and enchanting performance, shot and directed by Caro Ramirez.
Total Rubbish are Bre Steinfeldt (bass), Cass Nguyen (guitar) and Kiki Schiller (drums).
