Parisian shoegaze quartet, Hoorsees, will be releasing their self-titled debut album through the New York-based imprint, Kanine Records, in 2021, and the excellent jangliness of Overdry is the first single off it, and a solid introduction to the rising band.
Filmed in the dining room of the Soleil Club in Paris' 14th arrondissement, the video for Overdry sees the band making great use of their nineties alternative rock aesthetics, while the song itself which couldn't have been more sharply produced and performed, is a strong embodiment of the garage/surf rock and shoegaze blend that makes the band's sound so exciting.
Overdry comes one year after the band's previous EP, Major League Of Pain, which showcased the potential in Hoorsees' gracefully melancholic songwriting style.
