Portland shoegazers, Crystal Canyon, are readying the release of their coming album, yours with affection and sorrow, expected out on January 29th, 2021 through Repeating Cloud. Following the tuneful fuzz of previous single, Turn Blue, the band unveiled another piece off the coming record, the very ambitious and considerably lengthier, Every Little Star, on which they once more express the charming juxtaposition of melody against cacophony that typifies the majority of influential shoegaze.
Clocking in close to the eight minute mark, Every Little Star finds the band's songwriting in a moodier tone, closer to the wistfulness and grit of Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine, and at variance with the more buoyant ways of their immediately previous offering.
