Swedish quartet, KOLLAPS\E, emerge with a massive sound of post metal weight like it's the mid 2000s. The Helsingborg-based band has released it's first offering, explicitly dubbed The Pandemic Sessions, composed of two powerful pieces which detail their sludgy and hardcore-inclined post metal caliber.
Giving off enormous waves of juxtaposing sentiments, the two-song release principally combines viciousness with melancholy, and arrives as an ambitious and worthy successor to a long line of greatness Swedish acts have exhibited within this edgy genre, and bands like Breach, Cult of Luna, Burst and the like.
KOLLAPS\E haven't much to present yet in quantity, but the quality of these early examples of their art should be enough to turn heads their way.
