Not to be confused with the much milder indie rockers of the same name (minus the article), Love Language is an up and coming underground act from Chicago which has just emerged with a solid debut EP.
IV is a set of four dark oriented songs which present a near pristine epitome of shoegaze, gothic rock and post punk, all acutely produced, instrumentally striking and vocally arresting, very close to the style's motifs, but on no account worn out.
Although not much is yet disclosed about the band, IV comes with the air of a skillful and experienced act, and leaves a pretty lasting imprint. This promising to the utmost degree.
Love Language are David Bieschke (drums), Ryan Döden (bass, vocals) and Tyler Gargula (guitar, vocals).
