Rising post punk band, LUMER, have just released their expected debut, Disappearing Act, an EP full of the relentless energy and the radicality which the Yorkshire quartet's songwriting embodies.
Off the fresh EP comes the single and video for Another Day At The Zoo, a riotous piece built from the remnants of the sociopolitical unease which has made today's Britain a place of uncertainty. The track sees the band calling out the despondency in the post-Brexit Britain era, with its lyrics addressing "xenophobia in train stations," foodbanks and poverty, and directly asking the question which torments many, "is this what the world is coming to?"
The animated video which comes with the song was created and edited by Marion Moulinou.
