Parisian electronica artist, Matthieu Roche, has been proven to be an adroit collaborator by way of his rising project, Fragrance., and his works alongside first class acts like Maya Postepski (TR/ST, Austra) and Hélène de Thoury (Hante, Minuit Machine). Fragrance, returns with new single and video, The Cure, this time uniting with Venezuelan-born, New York-based singer and photographer, Lulannie (aka Jennifer Medina).
Once again co-produced with Sophia Hamadi (aka S.Diamah, from the French duo Opale), the new song continues in the same vein as the deeply wistful and alluring character of Fragrance.'s earlier material, dependably driving, entrancing, and full of a dreamy and contemplative appeal.
Beautifully photographed and visually strong, the accompanying video was shot remotely between the US (New York) and France (Brittany and Paris), and it was directed and edited by Jennifer Medina.
The Cure will be part of Fragrance.'s anticipated sophomore full length, expected later in the year through the French underground label Synth Religion.
