Even for industrial and noise music's fundamentals, the creative approach of Chicago-based act, HIDE, consistently gives every indication of being rather unconventional, radical and tough as nails. Heather Gabel and Seth Sher will be releasing their next album, Interior Terror, on May 29th, 2021 through Dais Records, and the have introduced it with the abrasiveness of first single and video, Do Not Bow Down.
The new track is described by the band as "a self directed spell for fire and regeneration," and it finds HIDE on a similar path and mindset as their previous LP, Hell Is Here, on which their straightforwardly aggressive and heavy angle had them standing out from the vast majority of their contemporaries.
Lyrically, visually and emotionally, Do Not Bow Down, takes the shape of a feverish, enflamed dream, and HIDE once more make it to the level of intensity for which they aim.
