True to their sound for all these years, and consistent purveyors of compelling alt metal long after the genre's comedown, Deftones released one of the finest albums of 2020, and accordingly they keep harnessing what Ohms had to bring.
Ceremony has been one of the record's highlights, and one of its relatively most accessible moments, bringing to mind a little from White Pony which the band re-released last year in a special 20th anniversary edition. The track comes with a cinematic video which was directed by Leigh Whannell (The Invisible Man, Insidious: Chapter 3), resultantly touching on modern horror aesthetics.
Cleopatra Coleman (The Last Man On Earth, In the Shadow Of The Moon) is starring in the clip, alongside members of the band who do not make such a bad team of actors after all.
