Canadian darkwave act, Ringfinger, return for the first time since their couple of EP offerings from 2019 with Echoes Fade, a five-track release which finds the band in top form, and displays their fine balance between sharp guitars and solid electronics.
The propulsive four-minute EP opener, Floorsong, is Ringfinger at their most stately, as the band seem to be implementing their influences from the archetypal darkwave of the eighties, while at the same time they stand with firmness and confidence next to the genre's current frontrunners.
