Ghost Woman is the psychedelic garage rock project of Evan Uschenko, a multi-instrumentalist from the small town of Three Hills, Alberta; formerly part of his fellow Canadian Michael Rault’s band with which he's toured alongside King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
Lost Echo's is the coming EP by Ghost Woman, and one of its three tracks, the strong single, Dead & Gone, sets the mood for the fine blend of garage pop, punk and psychedelia which the promising act brings forward, and it certainly makes an impression in under two minutes.
Echoes of psych garage rock staples like The Seeds, Country Joe and the Fish and Count Five are called to mind, together with parallels to some of the genre's contemporaries such as Thee Oh Sees.
