Thrills is the new single by synthpop/dance punk duo, Glass Spells, part of their upcoming album, Shattered, the follow up to their very energetic latest EP, Mirrors from mid-2020.
The San Diego-based duo composed of Anthony Ramirez (bass, synthesizers) and Tania Costello (vocals), makes evident its propensity for an expressive and detailed synthpop effect, channeling the genre's prime and reflecting the sound and the stylized patterns of the eighties.
Through pulsating beats and fleshy synth melodies, Thrills appears nostalgic and futuristic at the same instant, themed on the enduring notion of one looking for a piece of action into the night.
Shattered will be released on August 6th, 2021 through Negative Gain.
