AMMO: Rose + Crown

AMMO is a rock and roll photographer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Los Angeles, CA whose propensity toward dark aesthetics mingle seamlessly with the dreamlike shoegaze pop qualities of her sound. It all results in an arresting outcome which effectively channels select influences like Siouxsie, Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins and more in a very natural manner.

Rose + Crown is the first in a series of songs released through the artist's own imprint, Mourning Sun Records. The new song was written by AMMO, co-produced and recorded with drummer, Alex Posell of their former band Black Flamingo. It arrives a little after an enjoyable cover of The Sound's Total Recall.
