A few months after the indie folk approach of previous single, The Ease, Annemarie Duff's dreampop project, T.G. Shand, returns with new single, Lemony. The song comes with a beautiful video of vibrant visuals which will be up only for 24 hours, destined to be enjoyed by the few first who rush into the news of the artist's new release.
Lemony is a sweet, reverb-laden shoegaze pop cut with an alluring melody, airy vocals and astute production; an overall upright follower of both T.G. Shand's earlier material, and Duff's previous band, shoegaze staples, Miniatures.
Annemarie Duff is now based in Ĺtautahi, New Zealand, and delivers strong material in a not so frequent, yet, very steady manner, utilizing influence from lo-fi hip hop production, shrewdly implemented into the nineties alternative foundation of her sound.
