Birmingham rockers, Table Scraps, have a great way at combining rough psychedelic garage rock with doom rock attributes, and their brand new track, Threads, is the exact embodiment of that dynamic approach. The band have just announced their upcoming album, Coffin Face, due out September 24th, 2021.
Threads is the opening number to an album founded on intense fuzz and a post apocalyptic theme. Although it was initially conceived in 2018 as a concept record with a dystopian, fictional theme, eventually the album's bleakness became dangerously paralleled to what was happening in real life.
Table Scraps' approach to heavy rock 'n' roll has always been pragmatic and down to earth, and now through the trio's new material it finds immaculate fitting to the insecurity found in the actual world. This is something which well opposes the lack of substance in most of today's popular art forms.
