Alternative rock top cats, The Joy Formidable, release another single off their anticipated next album, and by all sounds and appearances so far, it seems like the Welsh band has a prominent and well-built full length in their hands.
Interval is one of the most driving and energetic moments in Into The Blue which has the air of a very direct record, with its shoegaze pop dynamics taking over. The band's revitalization and their encompassing sense of optimism are quite conspicuous, as they seem to be on a roll, at least through the very well selected series of recent singles which have paved the way for the album's arrival.
Into The Blue comes out on August 20th, 2021 through Enci Records in North America, Full Time Hobby in Europe and Soundly Distro for the rest of the world. The band will be going out on tour soon to support the new album.
