A couple of months ago, Swiss-based darkwave act, THYMIAN, released the strong single, Ponavlja Sew, which was sung in the artist's native language Croatian, and introduced the coming album, Rhythm of Doubt. THYMIAN returns with new single and video, I Should Have Seen It Coming, a moody, dark post punk cut with the intent to promote mental health awareness.
The new song is about a burnout that THYMIAN almost suffered last year. "This track should make you think of your mind's capacity. What are your mental boundaries? What is your balance in life?" the artist asks.
Vocally crooning, and all around imposing, I Should Have Seen It Coming, comes next to an accordingly artful, black and white visual, directed by Alexandra Soko.
Rhythm of Doubt will be released on July 16th, 2021 via Young & Cold Records.
