Japanese legends of experimental/post rock, MONO, reveal new track and video, Innocence, as they gear up for their eleventh album, Pilgrimage of the Soul, to be released on September 17th, 2021 through Pelagic Records.
The second single off the upcoming full length, the song points out for the millionth time in the band's long and prosperous career how natural it is for them to accomplish high levels of engagement with their audience, and that they're only capable of excellence. Innocence is a hair raising, melodious and quite heavy post rocker which has a comfortable place among MONO's finest work.
The eight-minute track pairs to an amazing short film directed by the Spanish film collective, Alison Group.
MONO will be taking Pilgrimage of the Soul on a European Tour in 2022 with special guest A.A. Williams.
