Israeli band, NŪR, will be releasing their upcoming EP, Negative Transfer, in October 2021 through Suicide Records, and the first example off it is an ultra punchy sludge metal cut which bursts through with its ferocity, its high levels of anger and overall extremity.
"The snake is the never ending line of cars twisted on the asphalt," the band comment on new track, The Snake. "This song talks about how we spent a big amount of our lives stuck on polluted traffic jams and our yearning to break free from that."
The groove is deep, the riffs are memorable and pulling, and the vocals are rather merciless, with all intrinsically bringing to mind a more ripened version of Neurosis given through a contemporary post hardcore lens.
